Spark Grants

Goal: Provide grants to support opportunities to meet a community need in a responsive manner.

  • Grant size: $1,000 – $5,000/year
  • Duration: One-year grants, with the possibility of a two-year renewal (up to three years maximum in funding)
  • Additional Eligibility:
    • School districts may apply for funding on behalf of a school building.
  • Potential Projects:
    • Discrete programs in schools or the community
    • Meeting or training expenses

What is the impact that the Partnership wants to support? Grantee has one or more of the following outcomes with project-specific funding:

  • Organizations leverage funding to address a community need aligned with the social determinants of health.
  • Increased organizational capacity, particularly for nonprofits engaging with marginalized populations.
  • Increased collaboration among community-based organizations.
  • Increased knowledge of program successes and challenges.
