Ann joined the foundation in 2014. She has spent over 40 years in development work. She began her career in the alumni and development offices at Dickinson College and then moved on to Lebanon Valley College.
Prior to joining the Partnership, Ann was a gift officer for the PinnacleHealth Foundation. Her responsibilities included raising capital funds to support a new emergency department at Harrisburg Hospital, the new West Shore Hospital and the Ortenzio Cancer Center. In 2016, she was named Fundraising Professional of the Year by the Central PA Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
As Gift Planning Officer, Ann concentrates on the Partnership’s fundraising and assists local nonprofits in building their fundraising capacity. She works with community leaders, board members and volunteers to build strong giving programs that encourage individuals to make impactful community donations today and support the future through legacy giving.
Ann has held leadership positions with many community organizations, such as Messiah Lutheran Church, Junior League of Harrisburg, Homeland Center, Harrisburg Symphony Society, Hospice of Central PA, Paxton Ministries and the Community Checkup Center. She has served on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Susquehanna Planned Giving Council. She also writes for the BURG Magazine.
Ann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, with minors in fine arts and economics. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, cycling, kayaking and sailing. She lives in Lewisberry with her husband Kurt and golden retriever Bexley.
