A trusted pillar of the health care community, the foundation’s roots stem from the 2001 sale of Carlisle Hospital and Health Services, Inc. The transfer of income from related endowments and trusts established a foundation dedicated to identifying and addressing health care challenges in our area and meeting community needs.
Formerly the Carlisle Area Health & Wellness Foundation, we changed our name in 2013 to Partnership for Better Health. While still the same organization, the new name better reflects the hallmark collaboration that is central to our vision and mission.
In 2021, we celebrated the foundation’s 20th anniversary. We’re grateful to the many individuals who have brought our mission to life and hope you enjoy our special 20th anniversary video.
