Casandra Jewell Sweeney serves as the Accounting & Grants Specialist at the Partnership, where she supports the organization’s financial operations and grantmaking processes. She manages key accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable and payroll support, while partnering closely with the Finance Director to ensure strong financial stewardship and efficient operations.
Casandra plays a central role in administering the foundation’s grants. She oversees the grants management system, supports applicants, coordinates grant agreements and payments, and helps ensure timely reporting and accountability. She is known for her exceptional organization, attention to detail, and collaborative approach, which help advance the foundation’s mission and impact.
Since joining the foundation in 2008, Casandra has been a trusted and steady presence, previously supporting office operations and organizational systems. Her background in banking and administration continues to strengthen her work and contributions to the team.
Before coming to the foundation, Casandra worked as an Education Assistant at the U.S. Army Heritage Center Foundation and as an office assistant at Chapel Pointe nursing home. Her career includes seven years in the field of banking. Casandra is a graduate of Boiling Springs High School.
